Hello!! Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Jenna Ratliff. I started practicing yoga after my daughter was born in 2013. I needed some relief from back and hip pain, but what I found was a deep rooted connection. That is what yoga is, Unity and connection. I absolutely love teaching yoga and sharing this practice. Yoga Chikitsa or therapy is the treatment everybody needs daily. If you are visiting my site, you have probably already heard some of the benefits of practicing yoga. Yoga eases stress, relieves anxiety, improves heart health, brings flexibility to the spine, improves sleep, promotes better breathing and much more. Yoga is not just Asana or poses, yoga is meditation and breath work. It is connecting the Mind, Body and Spirit.
Yoga together with nature is the ultimate Chikitsa or Therapy. Countless studies have proven how beneficial spending time outdoors is for our health. Spending time in nature reduces blood pressure, decreases obesity, boosts the immune system, contributes to greater happiness, reduces aggression and ADHD symptoms. The list of benefits is substantial. It is so important to disconnect from technology and immerse oneself in the great outdoors. The benefits cannot be overstated!
